Nobody in This House Wants to Own Up to the Truth

coffeewithyolando: The same character, from 2009 to present. This gay guy named Lance has been in my head since 10th grade. Sadly, I have no images of him from before 2009 (at least none that I can find). I was feeling really frustrated right now about how I draw, so I made this timeline to remind me how much better I feel about drawing than I did a few years back. Even though the old Lances are more detailed (partly because they are from finished comics, while the more current ones are from my sketchbook) they didn’t feel anywhere near as fun or effortless to draw as current Lances. I’m glad I’ve reached the point where five seconds of sparse lines make me feel way more awesome than spending an hour carving out Lance’s luscious locks in 2009. THANKS MCAD.
